| The weekend after Thanksgiving 2003, I came home with Ariel. She is such a sweetheart. At around 6 months of age, Ariel started show handling classes. |

| Now, we are very pleased to announce that on January 16, 2007 she whelped her first litter of 2 puppies!! Both puppies have been sold now and they are both happy in their forever homes. They both have such wonderful personalities. It was so much fun watching them grow. You can look for Ariel's little girl, Saphira in August 2007 in the show ring. More pics will also be posted soon of her on Saphira's Page. I know I had previously mentioned that Ariel was going to be shipped out to Leslie Engen to be bred. However, due to our current finances, I decided to use a more local stud. Mac is a beautiful boy. He took Best of Breed at our Regional Specialty in Sept. 2007 in conjunction with the Non-Sporting Group Club of the Garden State show and went on to win Best in Show that day as well. Please check out our puppy page for pics of Mac. ******NEWSFLASH********* Ariel has a litter of 4 babies. 3 girls and a boy on 1/20/2009!! All are now spoken for. Space, the boy & Yoko, (girl 1) left this past Sunday for their new forever homes. Star, (girl 2) will be staying here at Niji. Look for her in the show ring the end of July. Katsu, (girl 3) is still here with us and will be leaving for her forever home the weekend of April 11th. We, here at Niji Shibas wish all these puppies well with their new families. ****NEWSFLASH**** Ariel takes her very first point at Palisades KC show on 10/13/2007 (My 16th Wedding Anniversary) Way to go Ariel!!!
